Miranda is based in the UK and has been working in domestic and international fundraising for many years, with a background in education, law, minority rights and the social sciences, and a particular interest in environmental law and policy and sustainable finance, among other things. She has worked in third sector, public sector and postgraduate education, has a background in health research and has significant experience delivering targeted services for marginalised communities, so understands the complexities of projects concerned with social welfare or services for minority communities. She has been designing and delivering training, campaigns, forging partnerships, and leading on charity management and governance within the UK and International organisations for more than ten years. She holds a BA(Hons) in Sociology, MA in Understanding and Securing Human Rights and has recently completed her Doctorate, which is broadly minority health-based. She is a member of the Chartered Institute of Fundraising and sits on various boards.
