Narrative Description of Your Entry

Please provide no more than 1000 words together with any attachments you feel appropriate.

Your entry should include answers to the following:

  • Financial Success (i.e. did you reach your monetary goal)
  • Involvement Rate (did you reach your goal for involving the numbers of international stakeholders you wanted)
  • ROI
  • Innovation/Creativity (sometimes numbers are not the best measure of success and this criteria judges how you addressed your situation in international fundraising)
  • In 500 words or less why do you think your organisation deserves to win this award?

Submit your nomination online via the entry form
Upload all your documents (preferably in Word or PDF format) to the entry form and add your contact details (including your corporate office address) so we can confirm that we’ve received your entry. Please note that there is a maximum 20mb size limit per file and our system may be unable to process your entry if you exceed this limit.

Don’t forget the logo…
A large, high quality logo must be uploaded with each submission – if you’re nominating multiple organisations for the same award please provide all relevant logos. If your entry is shortlisted, your logo will be displayed on the awards web page.

I’ve entered and received a confirmation email – what happens next?
We will announce the shortlisted finalists by mid November 2023. All shortlisted finalists will be contacted by the relevant judge who will explore the entry in more detail. Please advise in your entry the correct person to be contacted and provide contact details. Following interviews with the finalists, our judging panel will select the winners who will be announced on 1st February 2024.

Top Tips for completing your entry

We are focusing on 2022/23 but you should put that year in the context of your entire international fundraising unless you are applying for the single initiative category. If 2022/23 were not your best years, feel free to talk us through why not and give us information about your previous successes.

Some suggestions for your entry:

  • Goals. What were your goals and how did you achieve them? What were the results?

  • Milestones. Please highlight key milestones and innovations achieved in 2022.

  • Your Organisation. Ensure we understand your organisation and its fundraising operations.

  • Your Target Countries. Explain why you chose your target countries, what connection you have to donors there, how your Case for Support targeted those countries.

  • Fundraising Programme. Tell us what you are doing in your target country(ies). Is it major gifts? Events? Grantmaking bodies? Government? Help us to understand why you are successful.

  • Planning. Did you plan your international fundraising programme? Do you have an action plan you are following? Who was involved in the planning? What was the process?

  • Success. What has success looked like for your organisation? Were there non-monetary goals achieved?

  • Campaign/Initiative. What was the campaign/initiative if you are applying for that category?

Please ensure all your personal details are entered accurately, including contact details, as this will be needed if your organisation is selected as a finalist.

You are eligible to enter more than one category.
