CONFERENCE | April 8th & 11th, 2019 | All Day Event
Every university and school is fundraising internationally either from local students who have moved abroad or from international students who have returned home. This session will address the mechanics of fundraising in other countries – what are and how to ensure you can offer appropriate tax and legal benefits in different jurisdictions; whether to establish a dedicated Friends Of entity or use an intermediary foundation; dealing with foreign currencies and exchange issues; how to obtain smaller regular donations cost-effectively. We will look at different regions of the world and what the particular challenges are in those areas.Fundraising from Asia Is high on many organisations’ agendas. Finding the best advice is often difficult or expensive. Chapel & York are pleased to bring to you two experts who will bring practical, useful help to you not matter whether you are an institution with alumni, graduates or members or an organisation wondering how to find potential donors and whether it is worth trying.
On November 28th & 29th, development staff, alumni stewards, fundraisers, and anyone looking to create a presence in Asia will have the chance to confer with Chapel & York’s experts in the Asian development space, Kristy White and Ralph Leonard.
Held at the 30 Broadwick Street in Central London, Kristy and Ralph will hold one-on-one sessions to answer your questions and offer guidance on a range of issues.
