National Theatre Of Scotland

National Theatre Of Scotland

Our Mission is to make exceptional, audacious, collaborative theatre that represents the complexity of modern Scotland, and to take that theatre to our communities and to the world. Established in 2006, the National Theatre of Scotland was the first national theatre to exist entirely as a touring company, without a permanent venue. This pioneering ‘theatre without walls’ model is unique in our approach of working with touring and venue-based organisations and non-traditional partners to see theatre being created and performed right across the country and beyond.
