Joining A Chapel & York DAF
After having an informative advisory call with one of our experienced consultants, you can easily submit your application online. Our team at Chapel & York will carefully review the documentation and conduct the due diligence to ensure your organisation meets the requirements to become a member.
Once we are satisfied your application meets the criteria, the application is passed to the Foundation Executive Director to share with the board your desire to set up a fund.
In the rare case that your application is declined, rest assured that we will refund the membership fee, but please note that the processing fee is non-refundable.
What is Included
Our Chapel & York advisory team will collaborate closely with you to identify charities, conduct thorough due diligence, all in alignment with your corporate goals and values. We will design a dynamic charity programme and a compelling theory of change that outlines how your actions lead to desired outcomes. This process involves mapping out your long-term goals, the necessary intermediate outcomes, and the activities and inputs that bring about those outcomes. Additionally, we consider the assumptions and risks that underlie your logic. By utilizing the theory of change, we can help you clarify your vision, strategy, and indicators of success, making it easier for you to communicate your corporate giving mission to others.
With our annual membership fee, you gain access to a wide range of benefits, including grantmaking, recordkeeping, quarterly statements, and other essential operating services. Plus, you’ll receive a valuable 1-hour advisory session with one of our senior consultants to kickstart your journey. When funds are received, a retention percentage fee is applied, along with a small admin fee upon renewal. And to make our advisory services even more accessible, we offer a flexible sliding price scale.
